Poll workers are needed for the 2012 presidential election on Nov. 6. <\/span><\/p>\n

Positions such as clerk, assistant clerk, check-in inspector, ballot table inspector, optical\u00a0<\/span>scan inspector, and ivotronic inspector are available. Poll workers can earn up to $246 per election. <\/span><\/p>\n

Students who are interested should visit their Campus Institute for Civic Engagement and Democracy office to receive an application or go online to download it. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To participate, you must be a registered voter in Miami-Dade County and be able to read and write in English.<\/span><\/p>\n

Application deadline is October 1, 2012. <\/span><\/p>\n
