From August 15 through September 14, Miami-based photographer Otalio Soca will be displaying his newest art compilation at the Miami Dade North Campus Museum and \u00a0Gallery of Art and Design, <\/span>11380 NW 27th Ave, <\/span>building 5. <\/span><\/p>\n

Soca received his Bachelor in Fine Arts degree from the University of Miami. He traveled to China, New Zealand and Vietnam from 1995 through 2011,to capture the quietest sceneries. <\/span><\/p>\n

This ten-photograph collection describes the idea of \u201clandscape stillness.\u201d Soca yearned to capture natural settings in a completely calm nature. He believes that \u201cthe satisfaction of taking the original photograph may only be surpassed when sharing it with others.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

The gallery is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon until 6 p.m. and on Fridays from noon until 5 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
