Miami Dade College\u2019s <\/span>Museum of Art + Design<\/span><\/a> (MOA+D) <\/span>at the Hialeah Campus is hosting an exhibition by Hernando Alzate from Sept. 16 through Dec. 14. <\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition called, <\/span>Alzante POP: American Icons Tribute, <\/span><\/i>i<\/span>s part of the inaugural programing at the Hialeah Cultural Center located at the Hialeah Campus, <\/span>1780 W. 49 St., Room 2109<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0Artwork displayed will include canvases and sculptures from the Miami-based artist, who is known for contextualizing legendary figures from American pop culture with contemporary scenarios.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition is free and open to the public from noon to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is supported through the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
