Kendall Campus President, Lourdes Oroza, has only been on the job for a few months, but she is no stranger to Miami Dade College.<\/p>\n
In 1998, Oroza started at MDC\u2019s Interamerican Campus where she served as the Business and Computer Information Systems Chair, as well as the Chair for Community Education and Distance Education. In 2003, Oroza then moved to the Wolfson Campus, serving as Dean of Academic Affairs until 2008.<\/p>\n
She has spent the past two years as the provost for the South Campus at Broward College.<\/p>\n
Oroza is a graduate of Miami Senior High.\u00a0 She earned a bachelor’s degree in French from Tulane University in Louisiana, and a master\u2019s degree in education from the University of Miami. In 1997,\u00a0 she got her doctorate\u2019s in adult education and human resource development from Florida International University.<\/p>\n
