Nirma Beatriz, 20, a recent InterAmerican Campus graduate, was awarded a paid internship with the internationally renowned Libra Group<\/span><\/a>. The business corporation has a presence in six continents. <\/span><\/p>\n

Beatriz began her internship on June 6, working at the luxury five-star hotel and resort known as The White Barn Inn, located in Kennebunkport, Maine. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI realized that classes weren\u2019t enough,\u201d said Beatriz, a business major. \u201cI needed more exposure to what\u2019s out there.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Beatriz graduated this spring from the Honors College Dual Language Program at InterAmerican Campus with a 4.0 GPA. She plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this fall. <\/span><\/p>\n

During her time at IAC, Beatriz served as acting president of the advertising club and vice president of Phi Beta Lambda.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
