(FBLA-PBL) is the largest career student organization in the world, focused on preparing members for careers in business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Darlin Fernandez received first prize in the state in Microeconomics. Ines Carvajal, Abrahan Cid and Reynier Montalvan placed first statewide and nationally for their Strategic Analysis and Decision Making team project. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The IAC adviser, David Mahon said the PBL chapter of IAC has won state competitions before, but this is the first time they won nationally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTheir first place national finish is especially noteworthy since they [were] all first year students,\u201d Mahon said. \u201cI\u2019m very excited for their potential.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Phi Beta Lambda Chapter of InterAmerican Campus competed in the National Leadership Conference last June in Atlanta, Georgia and took home the first place prize.
