North Campus, located at 11380 N.W. 27th Ave<\/a><\/span>., will host the Latin American Presidential Mission in Room 2147 on Sept. 22 at 9:50 \u00a0a.m. as part of a two day international symposium. <\/span><\/p>\n

At this event five former presidents from Latin America will speak<\/span>\u2014<\/span>Luis Alberto Lacalle de Herrera of Uruguay, Marco Vinicio Cerezo Arevalo of Guatemala, Carlos Diego Mesa Gisbert of Bolivia, Armando Calderon of El Salvador and Alvaro Colom of Guatemala.<\/span><\/p>\n

The discussion will focus on the new challenges and obstacles facing the relationships between Cuba, the United States and the Americas. Attendees will be able to talk to the ex-presidents and ask questions. <\/span><\/p>\n

The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Global Peace Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing peace and unity among universal communities.
