Code Explorers is inviting Miami Dade College students to intern and volunteer with them this semester to encourage children\u2019s interest in technology, computer science, architecture and engineering. Internships involve teaching pre-kindergarten to middle school students the fundamentals of engineering through an innovative academic curriculum at the after school program. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou see how they work at a young age and it\u2019s great,\u201d said Arcel Garcia, 23, an engineering major at North Campus and Code Explorers intern. \u201cWe use coding apps to teach, and you learn as you teach the kids.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Prospective interns and volunteers must register at <\/span>https:\/\/mdc.optimalresume.com<\/span><\/span><\/a> under the Jobs and Internships tab.<\/span><\/p>\n
