Four Miami Dade College students<\/span>\u2014<\/span>Alban Allajbegu, Ariel Nunez, Bryan Natera and Anthony Ordo<\/span>\u00f1<\/span>ez<\/span>\u2014<\/span>will attend a robotics class at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) this semester. The program is funded by the Eduardo J. Padr\u00f3n Innovation Fund and was started by professor Ramiro Almeida. <\/span><\/p>\n

The students, who will not receive MIT credits, will be attending MIT for the entire semester and will be observing a robotics class where they will learn how to build and program self-driving cars. They will return to the College in April to showcase the cars and go back to MIT to finish the program in May.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ariel Nunez, 19, who is majoring in computer engineering at Wolfson Campus<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, hopes to learn and gain new experiences as well as better himself academically. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition to gaining knowledge and working with some of the greatest minds at MIT, it will be a very meaningful experience learning about the stuff I\u2019m interested in,\u201d said Alban Allajbegu, 19, a sophomore engineering major at Wolfson Campus.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
