Student Engagement Series Being Held To Enhance Academic Success

Miami Dade College is hosting the Student Engagement Series, a 12-week program that includes 24 workshops meant to enhance academic success.

Every Tuesday and Thursday during the summer term, there will be virtual workshops covering topics such as time management, interviewing skills, leadership development and more. All workshops will start at 1 p.m. and take place via Zoom.

“It provides an opportunity for [students] to be engaged outside of the classroom and to gain skills that they would otherwise not have access to in a classroom setting,” said Medical Campus’ Student Life Director Marisella Cabrera-Rodriguez.

The next workshop will discuss resume writing on May 25. Attendees can join the event using this link.
