Talking With… Explores Female Diversity

Director Brad Beckham will showcase Talking With…, a collection of 10-minute monologues presented by student actors on Dec. 1 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kendall Campus Martin and Pat Fine Center for the Arts, 11011 S.W. 104th St., Room M113-00.

“The play emphasizes the idea that all women are not the same. Women are deep, profound, interesting, quirky, weird, and brave. It glorifies the diversity of women,” Beckham said. “This is what draws me to the play as well to direct it.”

Talking With… is a 1982 play originally written by Jane Martin. The composition consists 11, 10-minute-long monologues about women reflecting upon their lives.

Admission is free and open to the public. Parking is also available for free on campus.
