The Center For Literature & Theatre Announces The Paz Prize For Poetry 2014 Contest

The Center for Literature and Theatre at Miami Dade College is working with The National Poetry Series to bring back the Paz Prize for Poetry.

This contest requires an unpublished book of poetry written originally in Spanish by an American resident.

The winner will receive a $2,000 cash reward and their book will be published by Akashic books.

To participate in this year’s contest, all books must be submitted from May 1st to June 15.

Richard Blanco, a well-known Cuban American Poet, will be judging this year’s contest.
