The Center For Writing And Literature Will Offer Creative Writing Non-Credit Courses

The Center for Writing and Literature at Miami Dade College, along with the Miami Book Fair International will offer four different creative writing non-credit courses in Spanish and English. Everyone interested is welcome to register on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The courses, taught by published authors such as Nikki Moustaki and Fabienne Josaphat, are designed to accommodate writers at any skill level.

The classes are set to begin on the fourth week of February. The deadline to register is Feb. 19. The courses cost $100 to $190 and last from three to seven weeks.

Maria Vizcaino

Maria Elena Vizcaino, 20, was a mass communications/journalism major at MDC-West. Vizcaino, who graduated from Ronald W. Reagan Doral Senior High School in 2015, served as the briefing editor for The Reporter during the 2016 summer semester. She aspires to become an investigative print journalist.
