The Idea Center Is Offering Summer Internships Through Miami Startup Ecosystem Program

For the second year in a row, The Idea Center is accepting applications for the Miami Startup Ecosystem Internship Program. They are being accepted through April.

The program, in partnership with Blackstone Launchpad and JP Morgan Chase, is exclusive to current Miami Dade College students and recent spring 2026 graduates.

It aims to provide participants hands-on experience with leading startups and small business owners in Miami. Starting pay is $20 per hour. The internships last eight to 12 weeks.

Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, complete an interest form and apply through the platform Handshake.

Last year, approximately 65 students received internship offers, according to Anabella Sardinas, the program manager for The Idea Center.
