The Reporter Selects New Social Media Director

Divyasri Kadambi, a cybersecurity major at Kendall Campus, has been appointed as The Reporter’s social media director for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The 22-year-old will  manage the paper’s Instagram, X and TikTok accounts, curating posts, and filming and editing videos. Her vision is to grow the social media following and ensure the video coverage is timely.

“I feel really happy. I feel like I did work for it,” she said. “I couldn’t have done it without the team.”

Kadambi recently worked on a video commemorating Miami Dade College’s 66th Anniversary, a Sept. 11 observance ceremony at North Campus, and a Photography 101: Tips and Tricks tutorial.

She started at The Reporter last fall as a photographer and illustrator. Kadambi has photographed the school’s soccer, baseball and volleyball teams and Kendall Campus president Bryan Stewart.

A Miami Palmetto Senior High School 2023 graduate, Kadambi aspires to be a cybersecurity analyst in the future.
