University of Miami Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Accepting Applications

Applications for the University of Miami Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship are open until Jan. 26. 

The program will offer research opportunities in the biomedical field at the Miller School of Medicine from May 22 to July 28. It will also provide on-campus housing and a stipend. 

Applicants must be United States citizens or permanent residents, a rising undergraduate junior or senior majoring in a science-based career, have a minimum 3.2 grade point average and intend to pursue a biomedical sciences doctoral program. 

Additional requirements include two letters of recommendation, a resume, college transcripts and short essay responses. 

On July 28, students will present their findings at the SURF Symposium.
