Wertheim UF Scripps Institute Accepting Applications For Research Fellows Program

Applications for the University of Florida’s Summer Undergraduate Research Fellows program are being accepted through Feb. 1.

The SURF program is a ten-week, full-time, immersive research program held at The Wertheim UF Scripps Institute in Jupiter, Florida. It provides lab research opportunities for undergraduate students interested in biomedical research.

Students studying computational biology, neuroscience, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, structural and RNA biology are encouraged to apply.  

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, enrolled full-time at an accredited two-year college and have a minimum GPA of 3.2. 

They must submit a complete application form, including a personal statement, unofficial transcripts, two letters of recommendation and an academic CV or resume.
