Wolfson Campus To Host Career Training Opportunities

Miami Dade College invites the community to Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. Second Ave., Room 3210 to learn about educational and career training opportunities at the College for the BeMDC/MeetMDC open house event on Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m.  

The event aims to give prospective students an understanding of what it’s like to be enrolled in the College. It will showcase bachelor degrees and medical programs as  well as hot or high in-demand jobs in the field of culinary arts, aviation, animation, healthcare, and hospitality and management.

People attending the event will meet with student leaders, advisors and professors as well as participate in financial aid and scholarship sessions. Anyone can attend the event, but must register at www.mdc.edu/openhouse. It is free to the public.

Kaylin Cantor

Kaylin Cantor, 19, is a mass communications/journalism major at North Campus. Cantor, a 2014 graduate of Westland Hialeah Senior High School, will serve as Photo Editor for The Reporter during the summer of 2015. Cantor aspires to work at CNN. Her interests include photography and making YouTube videos.
