Wolfson Campus To Host NWSA Premier Of Kodachrome

New World School of the Arts is presenting the play Kodachrome by Adam Szymkowicz at Wolfson Campus, 25 N.E. Second St., Room 5807, on Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Performances will also be held on Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Kodachrome, a dramatic comedy, gives audiences an inside look at the romances blossoming in the town of Colchester, Connecticut through the lens of Souzanne, the town photographer, portrayed by NWSA senior Miranda Souki. Its central themes are love, nostalgia and loss.

“What I like about this play is that it takes this idea of looking at humanity and finding beauty in the small things in life, and gives it a more contemporary spin,” said Alan Patrick Kenny, NWSA dean of theatre, who is directing the performance.

Tickets can be purchased online at https://tinyurl.com/4pv2kd84 or at the door for $12. Admission for adults older than 62 and students is $5.
