World Languages Department At Wolfson Campus Accepting Work-Study Applications

The World Languages Department at Wolfson Campus is accepting applications for their work-study program.

Applicants must be a Miami Dade College student taking six credits or more per semester and be eligible to receive financial aid.

If selected, work-study students will help at the front desk, answer phones, sort and deliver mail, restock copy machines and printers and maintain the supplies inventory.

They will also aid students registered in the English for Academic Purposes program with completing their financial aid forms. 

Student assistants work 20 hours per week and are paid $14 an hour. To apply, go to the Work Study page on MDC’s website.

Vergara, who graduated from Maritime and Science Technology Academy in 2025, will serve as a news writer for The Reporter during the 2025-2026 school year.
