WSVN 7 Accepting Applications For Spring Internship

Applications for the WSVN 7 spring internship are open through Dec. 15.

The program offers college students the chance to get hands-on experience to complement what journalism students are learning in their classes.

Internships run for at least six weeks and up to 12 weeks from January through April. The internship is not paid but students will receive college credit.

Selected students will be assigned to complete projects under the supervision of a professional in their news department area. They will complete 15 to 20 hours per week. Applicants must be majoring in journalism or communications.

The application requires verification from the student’s institution saying it allows them to earn college credit for their work, a letter of recommendation from a professor and a resume. Documents should be sent to Dominique Wilkie at dwilkie@wsvn.com.
