Koubek Center Argot Tango To Host Dance Party

Little Havana Social Club will host a Valentine’s Milonga tango dance party on Feb. 18 at the Koubek Center, 2705 S.W. 3rd St. Attendees can partake in the pre-concert dance lessons and enjoy the music of a DJ set prior to the main performance at at 8 p.m.

The live performances feature the Argot Tango quintet, which is comprised of musicians from Argentina and Uruguay and showcases traditional and modern tango. The group consists of bandoneon player Miguel Arrabal, first violinist Elias Garnik, violinist Silvana Lanfredi and contrabassist Agustin Conti along with guest singer Mariana Quinteros.  

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2724833. They will also be sold at the door to the general public for $20, and to Miami Dade College students for $10.
