MDC In Focus Seeks New Student Reporters

MDC In Focus, the news style show that airs on MDC-TV, is currently looking for students who are interested in broadcast reporting. New segments air every two months on the MDC-TV website, on Comcast channel 78 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99.

“If students are interested in broadcast journalism or old fashion journalism, it’s a great learning experience,” said Nastassia Alayeto, the show’s producer.

One of the benefits of becoming an MDC In Focus reporter is the hands on experience that students will receive by reporting on stories and developing other important skills such as script writing, voiceover work and interview techniques.

Students can request an application and find out more information by contacting Alayeto at nalayeto@mdc.edu
