Miami Dade College’s Idea Center will host Sam Abbassi on May 23 at 12:30 p.m. at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. 2nd St., in Room 8525.
The event is under the Idea Center’s Pioneer @ MDC series. Abbassi will discuss the usage of blockchain technology in different industries.
Abbassi co-founded and is a software engineer at The Bushido Lab, software development firm. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics at Loyola University Chicago. Abbassi was previously a journalist at the Miami Herald and a research assistant at the University of Miami.
The event is free and open to the public.
