Puerta de Oro de Colombia will present La Leyenda Vallenata on March 23 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Koubek Center, 2705 S.W. Third St.
Puerta de Oro de Colombia will perform guacharaca music using an accordion and caja. Attendees can expect workshops, a contest, arts and crafts, traditional Colombian food and closing parranda.
La Leyenda Vallenata will be presented as part of Playtime, a monthly series of bilingual activities that provide parents an engaging outlet for their children to learn and practice Spanish. Playtime is sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts.
