Domestic Abuse Survivor To Speak At Homestead Campus

Venus Miller, a motivational speaker and domestic abuse survivor, will speak at Domestic Violence: Wounds to Wisdom at Homestead Campus, 500 College Terrace, on March 25 at 10 a.m. in Room F222.

Miller will recount her own memories as an abuse survivor, teach others how to identify a victim and help these individuals combat their own difficult situations. She has inspired others to overcome their struggles through her own company Time To Talk For Real.

Pain 2 Purpose, an organization dedicated to ending domestic violence, will also be featured to educate the community on this topic while offering resources to individual seeking domestic violence aid.

Wounds to Wisdom is part of Homestead Campus’ Women’s History Month initiative to highlight socially-relevant issues that affect women.
