MDC’s Wind Symphony To Perform At Kendall

Miami Wind Symphony will perform at the McCarthy Auditorium, Room 6120, at Kendall Campus,11011 SW 104 St., on March 18 at 7:30 p.m.

Forty-five MDC students participating in this free event will perform contemporary modern works including pieces from Igor Stravinsky, Percy Grainger, Francis Poulenc, Gary Powell Nash, Morton Gould, Aram Khachaturian and Claude Debussy.

“This will be an inspiring, memorable evening that will feature some of the great composers who lived within the last 150 years, performed by our talented young musicians here at MDC Kendall campus,” said conductor, Brian Neal.

Guest conductors will be Rodester Brandon and Jay Brown.
