P. Scott Cunningham will present a literary reading at Soya e Pomodoro, 120 N.E. 1 St., on Sept. 25.
The event is part of To Write Miami, an eight-part reading series hosted by Miami Dade College’s Museum of Art and Design meant to explore the creative process of a writer.
Cunningham, director of O’ Miami Poetry Festival and publisher of Jai-Alai Books, will speak on how Miami inspires his creativity and work. His work has appeared in the Harvard Review, Los Angeles Review of Books, Tupelo Quarterly and The Guardian.
They take place on the last Wednesday of every month until Oct. 30.
The event is free and open to the public.
