McDonald’s Offers Scholarships For High School Students

McDonald’s HACER scholarship is available to any high school student with a Hispanic background. 

The program is giving away up to $100,000 in scholarships funds. 

Students are selected based on academic record, financial need and involvement in their community.

Eligible applicants must be a high school senior, have at least one Hispanic parent, be a U.S. resident or citizen, be under 21 years of age, have at least a 3.0 GPA and have plans to attend a two or four-year institution on a full-time basis. 

The application process requires a high school transcript, personal statement, letter of recommendation, documented community service experience and a FAFSA Report. Students must also interview a representative of the HACER National Scholarship Program in-person or via phone. 

Deadline to apply is Feb. 5. Winners will be selected as early as May.
