Legal Assistance Referrals Available Through Single Stop

Single Stop is offering students and their families referrals to community organizations that can help them with legal matters at a free or reduced rate. 

Some of the organizations that Single Stop works with are Legal Services of Greater Miami, Americans for Immigrant Justice, Court Appointed Special Advocates, Abundant Living Ministries and more. 

They offer help with a variety of legal issues like food stamp denials, disability claims, unemployment benefits, discrimination and immigration claims. 

Students can get a referral by contacting a Single Stop outreach coordinator at (305) 237-1444. 

Single Stop is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
