Angie Martoccio, a former arts and entertainment writer for The Reporter, is working as a paid intern with Rolling Stone magazine.

“Writing for the A&E section of The Reporter helped me tremendously,” Martoccio said.

Martoccio, 22, started her semester-long position on September 16 as an editorial intern.

She will be responsible for transcribing interviews, researching, opening mail and press releases, sitting in on production meetings and understanding how the magazine operates.

This summer, Martoccio transferred to Baruch College in New York City where she specializes in journalism and creative writing.

Martoccio aspires to work as an associate editor at Rolling Stone after she graduates from Baruch College in the Spring of 2016.
