Single Stop Offers Food Pantry Event At North

Single Stop is offering food pantry services at North Campus, 11380 N.W. 27 Ave., in the Breezeway area in the 4000 building every Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Students eligible to receive items from the food pantry are those who demonstrate financial need through Single Stop screening.

Items available at the food pantry include non-perishables like canned soups and bags of rice.

Single Stop began the food pantry initiative for students who are not eligible for food stamps because of lack of documentation or unemployment.

“Food pantry is a great way to help those students on campus that needed the help and didn’t qualify,” said Single Stop Director, Barbara Pryor.
