Padrón Campus Celebrates Hispanic Heritage With Literary Exhibition

Miami Dade College will host the second-ever Latin American Books of the World, an event that celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month by showcasing the work of critically-acclaimed Latin American writers.

Novels, poetry, children’s books, films based on books, and biographies will be posted on LibGuides throughout October. The exhibition can be accessed starting on Oct.1 from this link: https://libraryguides.mdc.edu/Padron-LibHHM2020

“The idea is to show the impact and contributions of Latin American writers and books to the U.S. and the world,” said Erick Dominicis, the collegewide director of Learning Resources and a member of the Hispanic Heritage Month Committee at the Eduardo J. Padrón Campus.

Latin American Books of the World seeks to promote Hispanic history, culture, and literature.
