MDC Students Picked To Travel To Brazil In The Summer

A group of Miami Dade College Students were selected to travel to Brazil this summer as part of the U.S. Brazil Connect Fellowship.

After a competitive application process and two rounds of interviews, the eight fellows will serve a leadership role to help facilitate a fun, engaging English-language environment for Brazilian high school students.

They are required to interact with other students four to six hours a day, leading project-based groups, facilitating interaction of small groups, and working as a team member with other students.

Upon their return to the U.S., they will continue a relationship with these students through online communication and support them for eight weeks.
