North Campus Reopens Its Aquatic And Fitness Center

Miami Dade College North Campus reopened its Aquatic and Fitness Center, 11380 N.W. 27 Ave., in the 500 building on Jan. 12. The facility had been closed since March of 2020 due to the pandemic.

The fitness center is available to MDC students, faculty and staff with memberships, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The aquatic center is open on Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

It includes upright bikes, elliptical machines, treadmills and weights, as well as a 25-yard-by-30-meter Myrtha competition pool. For now, fitness classes like yoga, upper body and full-body will not be held.
