White, 29, writes and reports news stories for the station.

“What I enjoy the most is getting to interact with people and telling their stories,” White said.

She got her first hosting opportunity in 2013 when she served as a Q&A sessions host for the Miami Book Fair. At MDC-TV, she worked as a writer, producer and talk show host for four years.

“MDC is really where I got my foundation,” White said. “They really took a chance on me.”

White earned an associate of arts degree in mass communications and an associate of science degree in radio and television broadcasting from MDC in 2016.

Two years later, White received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in African-American studies from Georgia State University. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in journalism at Regent University and is scheduled to graduate in May.

White has interned at WPLG Channel 10, worked as an associate producer for WSVN 7 News and as a producer for CNN.
