Honors College Alumna Lands Job At Telemundo Las Vegas
Catalina Pérez de Armiñán Pazos, who graduated from the Honors College at Wolfson Campus two years ago, started working as a multimedia journalist for Telemundo Las Vegas on May 23.
The 23-year-old is covering general news stories in the Las Vegas community.
“It’s my dream job,” Pérez de Armiñán said. “Every day you do something new.”
Most recently, Pérez de Armiñán did a remote internship with NBCUniversal Telemundo from May of 2021 to May of 2022. She created and edited digital content and managed the social media accounts of the LatinxNOW! Show.
After earning an associate’s degree in mass communications from Miami Dade College in 2020, Pérez de Armiñán transferred to Emerson College. In Boston, she worked as a podcast host for WECB (Emerson’s Radio Station) from September of 2020 to May of 2022, a fashion correspondent for WEBN-TV (Emerson’s TV Broadcast Station) from February of 2021 to May of 2022 and as a media reporter for Sunset Confidential, an entertainment publication for Emerson College Los Angeles, from January of 2022 to May of 2022.
Pérez de Armiñán graduated from Emerson this past May with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
