School Of EnTec & Design Selects New Director Of Recruitment Services

James Veard was selected as director of recruitment services at the School of EnTec & Design on Feb. 18.

Veard, 37, will oversee enrollment, admission and recruitment for the program. 

“I have a lot of ideas and I have a lot of potential because I’ve done this for 16 years,” Veard said. 

For the past year, Veard worked as an enrollment manager at the Eduardo J. Padrón Campus. 

Before Miami Dade College, he served as a regional student support services coordinator at National University College-Pembroke Pines for two years.

From 2007 to 2013, Veard was a testing specialist, admissions and registration supervisor and student services supervisor at Broward College.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing and related support services from Florida Atlantic University in 2012.
