Eight MDC Campuses To Host Summer Camps For Kids And Teens

Miami Dade College’s School of Continuing Education & Professional Development is hosting summer camps for children and teens from June 10 through Aug. 9.

Activities will be held at each campus—North, Kendall, Wolfson, Eduardo J. Padrón, Hialeah, Medical, West and Homestead—and spotlight interests, such as STEM, entrepreneurship, marketing, leadership, construction, art, music and theater.

“Summer camps are an essential part of our community,” said Sandra Garcia, program manager for Continuing Education at Kendall Campus. “Parents love us because they know their kids are going to be safe with us, they’re going to have a lot of fun and they’re going to have a meaningful education.”

Prices range from $0 to $1,229.
