Kendall Campus To Host Summer Musical Revue

The Performing Arts and Industries department at Kendall Campus,11011 S.W. 104th St., is hosting their annual summer musical revue from July 18-20 in Room M113 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This year’s theme highlights pieces by the late composer Richard Rodgers and the late lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II. It will feature musical numbers such as My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music, Puzzlement from The King and I and Some Enchanted Evening from South Pacific

“They’re two of the most innovative writers in theater and they’ve given us some great stories,” said associate professor Leo Walz, who is directing the production. “It’s good to expose students to something a little bit older than they’re used to.”

The event is free and open to the public.
