Kendall Campus To Host Mint Julep Trilogy

The Performing Arts and Industries department at Kendall Campus, 11011 S.W. 104 St., is presenting the play Mint Julep Trilogy by Nick Zagone on Dec. 4-7 at 7:30 p.m. in Room M113.

It consists of three 10-minute short acts: “Mint Julep”, “Coors Light” and “Long Island Iced Tea.”

The Kendall Campus version is directed and produced by Aaron Alpern, an associate professor, who teaches humanities and theater and entertainment technology. The comedic play spotlights the dating life of college students and the complex social world they live in. 

“I hope that they have a really good time, that they enjoy the show, that they have fun with their friends and family members watching it, and that they feel like they can relate to the story that’s being told,” Alpern said.

The event is free and open to the public It features mature themes and languages

Pietra Romano

Pietra Romano, 18, is a mass communication/journalism major in The Honors College at Kendall Campus. Romano, who graduated from Miami Sunset Senior High School in 2024, will serve as a briefing writer for The Reporter during the 2024-2025 school year. She aspires to be a television news anchor.
