West Campus Literature Club Hosts Women in Fantasy Event

Words Are Us, the literature club at West Campus, is hosting the Women in Fantasy event on March 20, in Room 1102 at 10 a.m.

The student-led program is part of Words Are Us’ annual literary festival.

During the event, students will explore the evolution of female characters in fantasy, including stereotypical roles to empowered figures shaping their own destinies. As the event evolves, club members will rotate through various stations, portraying and introducing key characters.

“I want students to have fun… and I want them to let their imagination take them places they have never been before,” said Brinda Surendar, who serves as advisor to the Words Are Us club.
