Earth Ethics Institute Opens Applications For Narrow Ridge Trip

The Earth Ethics Institute at Miami Dade College is accepting applications for the Narrow Ridge Literacy Experience in Washburn, Tennessee until March 21.

Applicants must be a first-year student, submit a 300-500 word essay, a letter of recommendation from a faculty member and a copy of a government-issued ID. 

Additionally, they must provide a copy of their unofficial transcript and be enrolled in six credit hours during the summer semester. 

Selected students will learn about eco-justice, earth literacy and various sustainable practices through hands-on activities. The trip will take place from May 3 to May 10. 

Participants are expected to complete a project in the fall semester after the trip, based on their experience in the program.
