Music Festival To Benefit The Oceans

The sands of Fort Lauderdale beach will soon come alive with the sounds of sweet music.

The inaugural Tortuga Music Festival will be invading the shores from April 13-14, featuring more than twenty musical acts ranging from pop to rock to country.

Key artists include Kenny Chesney, Grace Potter, Eric Church, The Wailers and Lynryd Skynyrd.

In addition to the musical acts, there will also be local cuisine, sustainable seafood as well as traditional fair fare.

The two-day event is being held by Rock The Ocean Foundation, HUKA entertainment, and The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation with proceeds going to supporting scientific research, education and increasing public awareness about the issues impacting the world’s oceans
