Gina Cortés-Suárez, president of the InterAmerican Campus, was selected as a Woman of Distinction at the annual Miami Commission on the Status of Women’s (MCSW) breakfast by the City of Miami Commissioner.
Each year MCSW recognizes local women who have made major contributions to the local and worldwide community.
Cortés-Suárez, who has served nearly thirty years at MDC, received honors for her positive impact on education and leadership.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Science in Education degree from the University of Miami and a doctorate in higher education administration from Florida International University.
