Hialeah Campus To Display Hernando Alzate Exhibition

Miami Dade College’s Museum of Art + Design (MOA+D) at the Hialeah Campus is hosting an exhibition by Hernando Alzate from Sept. 16 through Dec. 14.

The exhibition called, Alzante POP: American Icons Tribute, is part of the inaugural programing at the Hialeah Cultural Center located at the Hialeah Campus, 1780 W. 49 St., Room 2109. Artwork displayed will include canvases and sculptures from the Miami-based artist, who is known for contextualizing legendary figures from American pop culture with contemporary scenarios.

The exhibition is free and open to the public from noon to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is supported through the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
