Reagan Foundation Scholarship Awards $10,000

The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program is accepting applications for the 2016-17 school year until Jan. 5, 2017. The scholarship, which is a part of President Ronald Reagan’s Foundation, awards current high school seniors $10,000 in assistance to pay for tuition, books, fees and other educational expenses for the upcoming academic year.  

The scholarship can be extended up to three years with an increase up to $40,000.

To be eligible, applicants must possess strong leadership skills and drive for higher education. Semifinalists must be nominated by a community leader such as a nonprofit executive, high school principal or elected official.

Applicants must be U.S citizens, hold 3.0 or higher GPA, and plan to enroll full-time in a four-year university or college next fall.
