Attention Hopeful Filmmakers: Film Festival Accepting Submissions
The MDC Film Society will be hosting the 2013 Student Film Festival on April 26, anyone interested must submit their films by April 10th.
All submissions are accepted no matter the level of production class.
Films must be done by Miami Dade College School of Entertainment and Design Technology’s current or alumni students.
An entry fee of $10 is required for the first submission. Any additional entry thereafter will be $5. Each film must have a running time of 20 minutes maximum, which includes a five slug at the beginning, title sequences, and opening/closing credits.
All footage and sound must be original, films with copyrighted material will not be accepted.
To submit your film, drop off a hard copy at the North Campus Equipment Room (2137).
A self-contained SD QuickTime file, data DVD or USB flash drive is preferred.
The hardcopy must be labeled with the name of participant, title of film, genre, and running time.
Only the top 10 films will be shortlisted and screened. And only seven trophies will be given.
The award ceremony will take place on April 26th at 6pm in the SEDT Screening Room (2147).
