Beit Burger Offers Authentic Kosher Cuisine Fast And Cheap
Beit Burger has convinced me that Kosher cuisine can certainly be enjoyed by anyone regardless of one’s personal religious subscriptions.

You walk straight into a galley-style kitchen reminiscent of Subway where they also prep your food in front of you. However, unlike Subway, they go the extra mile and provide waiter service to your table.
I ordered salmon with rice, hummus and pita bread. My best friend had a veggie burger and Israeli salad. My fish was cooked medium, I saw the skin raw on the bottom but the interior of the fish was fully cooked. The humus was creamy, thick and pure awesomeness, it doesn’t taste like the kind you buy at Publix.
My friends falafel (mashed fried chickpeas) burger looked like the perfect hearty meal (requiring both hands) with onion rings on top. I didn’t try it, however, I did sample her Israeli salad; which comprised of diced cucumbers and tomato, and was refreshingly appropriate for the summer heat.
This humble establishment has an awesome lunch special many options available for under $13.00 with two sides and a drink. Although they have standard soda options like Coke, Sprite, etc, they also have sodas that I’ve never seen or heard of before, which is another neat feature of this place.
Beit Burger is conveniently located on 16 West Flagler St., five blocks south from Wolfson Campus. If you’re looking to walk there from campus, take the metro-mover and get off at the Macy’s station, walk downstairs, head north and turn left at the corner. If you wan to see their menu first, it is available online at www.beitburger.com/our-menu
The place is great for two or a group of friends—catering and delivery is also available.
Some downsides are that there is no convenient parking, the bathroom is tiny and gross, and the interior decor is informal but the awesome quality of food makes up for that.
The verdict: kosher meals at fast-food prices, good quality, and large portions.
