Book Enthusiasts Flock To Miami Book Fair

Thousands flocked to Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus located in downtown Miami from Nov.13 – 20 to celebrate the 33rd annual Miami Book Fair this year.

The nation’s largest literary gathering hosted more than 450 authors and 250 booksellers for a weeklong festival of food, literature and culture. The Book Fair hosted its traditional Evenings With series, presenting Pulitzer prize-winning authors like Geraldine Brooks and renown political consultants like James Carville. Other speakers included Bernie Sanders, Alan Cummings, Tavis Smiley, and Trevor Noah.

This year the Fair also launched it’s first dedicated program, ReadCaribbean, complete with readings, panel discussions, children’s writers and book signings to celebrate Caribbean culture.
